Years ago my partner and I plus a buddy/neighbor both traveled down into Ky. for a tractor pull.....mainly to put on a couple runs for the crowd because the fair wanted to add our class in the future.
Well, we were the only two there in the class and we beat the neighbor.
The next day when we stopped at the local auto parts store the manager said I hear you didn't do too well last night.
When questioned, he said the neighbor had been in earlier and said we finished next to last and he'd gotten second place.
It was all in good fun and I thought pretty clever. |
It’s amazing how a person can mean one thing yet someone else retells it totally different.
