NC IA | I don’t consider myself an expert but have been around a fair number of those old girls. Three basic things to start off- #1 reroute sentry module power wire to starter cable post instead of battery terminal. #2 replace both hi & low pack pressure sensors. #3 check regulated pressure and reshim regulating valve so trans pressure is 280-300 psi.
I can’t comment on dipstick length. I’ve seen bad orings on filter covers and pump suction tubes that aerate the oil &/or cavitate the pumps and that’s not good. | |
