Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana | TheGleaner - 9/28/2020 02:21 I believe #1 has been done, 2 is on order, 3 is being avoided until it gets done in the field.
You need to assure that #1 has been done, except, do not run the power to the starter post. Connect the power at either the power stud in the front wall of the cab or the hot side of the cab power solenoid. I like to run the sentry ground wire to the left front cab mount where the left battery strap is attached. Gives the sentry a clean ground away from all the electrical "noise" that might be present in the main ground on the right. This is especially important if the sentry ground was connected at a relay mounted in the lower right corner of the steering support.
Definitely change the pressure switches if they are tall, have rubber boots on the top and/or are leaking oil out the top.
A lot of sentry problems with these tractors that "couldn't be fixed" were due to low regulated pressure.
