If its draining the hydro system, then the nose seal is out on the drive motor. Its over filling the trans gear case and coming out the breather. Edit: I guess I should ask why you suspect the brakes? I would think that road gear would make for higher pressures in the drive motor. Are you using the brakes during road travel? I suspect not, as nobody generally does.
