Subject: 2188 combine transmission blows fluid out the vent

We replaced the transmission in our 1995 2188 and when running at road gear, oil comes out of the vent. It eventually drains the hydraulic system. I'm pretty sure it's the brakes. Has anyone replaced the seals? I'm hoping I just remove the driveshaft and pull the brake housing and replace a few orings - does it work out that way or does the transmission need to come out and be taken apart? thanks
