caleb2684,

I rarely know what Dad will be buying or selling next!

I know the Ford 6.7 has a good reputation. That said, Dad has had one good one (the one mentioned above) and one bad one. I did a post last year about the service truck and the other 6.7 (cube truck) breaking down in the same week.  Two Trucks in One Week

I no longer remember the repair details, but Dad and one of his mechanic friends had done an fairly major cab-off engine repair to the truck.  After the repair, we believed the truck to be very solid, but just a few months later it failed us again.  The second breakdown is the one mentioned in the linked post.  Dad believed that the truck was going to require a new engine.  Not wanting to take on another repair project, Dad eventually sold the other 6.7 as a parts truck.

We posted a video on YouTube of Dad trying to get it to start after the second breakdown.
