Schochoh Ky | Does anyone have experience, appealing to the usda , to get a non covered crop covered under these programs . We grow tobacco and hemp , and looks like tobacco will be covered this round , where it was not in cfap1. Hemp flower was not included in either program . I’ve googled appeal CFAP and found where , blueberries, flowers , ornamentals, Christmas trees, and others obtained support payments . We produce a lot of straw for the horse industry, specificity the race tracts in Kentucky, with all races being canceled this year , this market is as close to zero as I’ve ever seen , we are moving product , but it is to landscapers , instead of racetracks.At a reduced price, straw is meant to be sold in the year produced, it does not store the best and new crop is always 12 months away.Thanks for replies. | |
