Does anyone have experience, appealing to the usda , to get a non covered crop covered under these programs . We grow tobacco and hemp , and looks like tobacco will be covered this round , where it was not in cfap1. Hemp flower was not included in either program . I’ve googled appeal CFAP and found where , blueberries, flowers , ornamentals, Christmas trees, and others obtained support payments . We produce a lot of straw for the horse industry, specificity the race tracts in Kentucky, with all races being canceled this year , this market is as close to zero as I’ve ever seen , we are moving product , but it is to landscapers , instead of racetracks. At a reduced price, straw is meant to be sold in the year produced, it does not store the best and new crop is always 12 months away. Thanks for replies.

Do you harvest the grain? If so there's your payment im guessing. Don't think we need to start adding the byproduct of a harvested crop into cfap. Whats next cornstalks be paid because people sell some at a craft fair?
