That looks like a mess. I've ran 150,000 bales through m and n series balers and never had much issues with belts. Did have tail gate latch that would come open a tiny bit and broke belt that way. Had to readjust latch. I think its impossible to put belt on wrong way because it would be the right length. Im scratching my head on what could be wrong
