It's pretty tart in my opinion. I need quite a bit of sugar but my wife says that when she was a kid she and her siblings would take a salt shaker out and put a little salt on it and eat it raw. I like it with cottage cheese. I also mix cottage cheese with apple sauce. I don't know which I like better.
