What about the people who are in nursing homes, who died of something other than Covid, who have not had personal contact with a family member for the last 6 months.
Had 2 ex-neighbors die in the last month, neither from Covid, and both alone. In one case, even when on their deathbed, only one family member was allowed to visit at a time. The ironic thing, is the family gathered as a group outside their window, but could only visit one at a time in a private room, even though the victim had hours to live, at best.
Can anyone explain to me, how having 5 people clustered around a window, while one goes inside for a half hour, then that person switches with one of the other 5, versus having all 6 in there at once?
It would seem to me, if any of the 6 were infected, they all were going to get exposed, regardless, and to the other extreme, if all 6 were infected, IMO, they actually were a higher risk going one at a time, because the time it took for all 6 to come and go, involved 2 shift changes in the nursing department, meaning that more of the staff would have the potential for contact.

Exactly. Zero logic to these restrictions. Just a series of never ending "actions" based on feel good attempts to do "something". This is not a plan of action. Its all reaction. Sweden had a plan and carried it out. Wash your hands and social distance if possible and rock on. We just have the media create hysteria and politicians that twist that to their advantage.
