East Central Nebraska | Yes, it sure affects people different. We had it run thru our family. I had minor symptoms for a couple days. I worked thru it and worked on the combine in the shop. Really compared it to a bad hangover. My 9 year old had it for about 16 hrs. Really minor. Wife and older son never got it. My brother had it, 2 weeks felt like crap. My folks got it and it is the sickest I've ever seen them. They are in their mid 70's and great health. They both ended up with pneumonia. Doctor told dad yesterday expect 6 more weeks till he starts feeling better. My mom pretty much back to normal. This is been over 4 weeks ago. I'm hoping Dad can drive the grain trucks here soon. He did get into a tractor yesterday evening and disked up a dried out mud hole that couldn't be planted this spring when it was wet. He even took a beer along, so thinking he is getting much better, but he still was too weak to hook in the hydraulic hoses to the old 7050 allis. | |
