Subject: Old grain bins New life??

McLean county IL
Hello All.

I had posted this one earlier in Machinery section; got no responses. So I'm trying here to hopefully get your thoughts.

I've got two gov't bins on our central IL farm ( late 1960 built- 18' diam X 7 ring, 8" unloads, fans) with good steel and aeration floors. Tenant quit using them and not any farmer interest here in renting them by today's standards.

I've read and thought about those outfits that take a bin and convert it to a gazebo. Wanting to know a bit more about it and if it's worth my looking into it. Anyone have any info and/or experience with this? My bins aren't really bothering sitting there. But if they could be gone physically and off the tax roles, so be it.

TIA!
