central AB | Have run Case for many years. Grow wheat, canola, barley, peas and a few others. Live in an area that has good support for both CNH and NH. Next time I would consider the NH. CNH has ridiculous chopper setup, eats bearings and they are a big job to change. They also have a poor drive on the feeder chain, it eats the splines out of the sprocket and you have to change sprocket and output shaft on the drive gearbox about every 700 hours threshing for us. I imagine if I ran NH for any length of time there would be some issues with them as well. Would miss the reversible rotor and may not like buying rotor drive belts for the NH. | |
