Stoddard Co. SEMO | That’s a beautiful crop. Wish I had a couple hundred acres this year on some of my marginal ground that needs rotated. Grew Dekalb 5400, about 5 years ago and it made about 7,500lbs an acre. Cheaper to plant, and fertilize but much more expensive to spray. The atrizine and dual pre, isn’t the problem but down here we experience aphids, head worms(corn ear worm) and midge. All that generally has to be applied with a plane. How was y’all’s insect pressure? | |
