Just because they are marketed as the same maturity doesn't necessarily mean they will be the same. The maturity is set by a plant breeder/agronomist as they see the bean, so if I think it is a 3.8 it may in reality in different conditions actually be a 3.6 or a 4.0. There really isn't a scientific method to rating maturity on hybrids.
