Depends on the hay, if it’s decent alfalfa (15% protein), you shouldn’t need more protein. We adjust based on what we have on hand and what we can sell and replace it for.

I guess there’s a lot of questions here, do you grow the corn and hay? Do you have any kind of bulk storage?

We just have a cheap little 2 horse roller mill, we roll corn out of the bin into a gravity wagon, then fill buckets out of the gravity wagon, same with gluten, soymeal etc. try to dump evenly, figure out what a bucket, or half bucket weighs, and split them evenly by trough.
