Those “unlucky” guys that were hit 100% broadside by derecho will now be the “luckiest” In terms of their preparation for 2021. Cut/disk/chisel/plow/etc. high APH in derecho areas always favors corn. They have time to get ready for whatever is most profitable for 2021 when they make that decision. Dealing with downcorn for the partially affected Derecho guys will be the tossup. Does the fall stay open long enough to bury 2020’s crap remnants? Dealing with the volunteer corn in beans ain’t no cake walk either if rains pop up post planting into summer To keep getting a new flush of volunteers.
