Subject: RE: Pricing Next year beans?

If you think about it it is not to hard to fathom. Around 13 million acres of corn planted in Iowa this year and I think I saw what about 40% of those acres effected so about 5.25 million acres. Of those say 3 million that are layed flat causing large field losses making the grower thinking of rotating to beans. I would bet only half of those acres will be though so maybe an extra 1.5 to 2 million acre switch. An extra 100 million bushels is not that much. The price of beans before and at planting will have more of an effect on the number of acres planted.
