I haven't used gramoxone for years. I want quick kill down of weeds. The pamphlet says 3pts per acre in 30 gal of water. I want to try less chemical and less water. Anyone have any luck using one pint and 10 gal of water, plus a spreader and nitrogen. Weeds aren't real high.
I don’t like running only 32oz of Paraguat at 10gpa, but have used 10gpa of water With 40-48oz with good kills multiple times as long as weeds aren’t to big. A product I have started using with good luck is firezone. It seems to make the paraquat activate more than anything else and gets a phenomenal kill. We’ve done tons of commercial spraying both with airplane and ground rig and it’s not about how much water you use, it’s about the coverage. So if you can get good coverage at 10gpa and weeds are smaller that’s what I would do. But I would more than anything recommend applying no less than a quart of paraquat, I see anything less as a waist of time and just burning the tops a little.
