Go time. Especially with rye. Even if its a bit uneven in emeregence, it'll all take, making no difference since I assume you're chopping.

Every year I put in triticale. Earlier is better, no matter what the moisture condition is. I planted into a desert one year in mid September, and even though the green haze across the field didn't show up until when it does when I don't get it planted til mid October, it spent its time going down with the roots and was far and away the best crop of trit I've ever raised.

Quit reading, start drilling
