both corrections occurred with black swan events. Trade wars (smooth hartley in the 30's) Massive increase in interest in the 80's, What will be the trigger for the next downturn? Are we in it with the virus and just don't realize it? The interest rate spike started in 1979 but we didn't really realize it until about 1982.
