Central Missouri | No I’m not expecting that just saying it would not be as bad as it would seem. If the market would drop into nov we as producers would be thinking we missed the boat. I don’t think we would have because my belief is that China needs our grain that bad imo.
China isn’t going to cancel anything imo until they are comfortable with their position ahead of South America harvest. Presidential election is a wildcard. I’m sure they would much prefer Biden over Trump.
Bottom line is we are the only bean game in town until February and they need the beans.
I think we are going higher possibly all the way into April but you never know.
Edit to add: I don’t think China is manipulating the market. I think they are working as hard as they can to buy as much as they can as cheaply as possible. Nothing wrong with that. Just look at price. We have a record yield forecasted and beans have rallied over 20% counter seasonally. That is a big move and mainly due to the Chinese.
