Got it. You are bullish beans. I don’t understand how the Chinese got in such a desperate place when they had all summer to buy beans a buck cheaper. Doesn’t fit with their genius reputation. And I don’t expect them to abide by their agreements. We are most certainly encouraging more SA bean acres now.
I don't want to speak for ehoff, but I think he's been suggesting the possibility that the Chinese have used the summer to build a large long position in soybean futures. So now they can buy physical without being concerned about futures price. |
