West Central Iowa | It’s not 20 years ago, we have straight Angus cattle getting kicked out of CAB for too big of ribeye size. You can also be fine with back fat if you pay attention to it. Simmentals lack of marbling puts them at a huge disadvantage on the quality grid. The reason corn has such good heterosis is because it is riddled with deleterious alleles. While there is some heterosis, comparing it to corn paints an unreal picture.
