East central Iowa | Check axle to hitch difference, doubt it is full 4 ft. more. Also if you haul cattle a little more room can't hurt.
When I bought my bumper hitch 7x16 they had a standard 6x16 next to it. So glad I got the 7 wide.
When I bought my flatbed could have gone 2 ft. longer for $150 more wish I had.
If you got a big trailer hooked on that extra 2 to 4 feet just makes life easier those few time a year.
Most buy trailers for many years of use.
