Valley, NE | I do a version very similar to this, the smokey flavor from the treager really adds some flavor. hers my version:
2 cans of bushs'
an onion
some ketchup, mustard, and molasses ( dont ask me how much, i never measure)
about a 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Two kielbasa sausages ( Smoke the kielbassa while the beans are cooking on the treager then pull them off and add to the beans
1/2 package of bacon, ( again i smoke them on the traeger separate then add to the beans)
then depending on what else I'm cooking, pork butt, brisket, sausage, whatever, the little left over chunks and pieces from the cutting board get "cleaned off" into the beans.
