How exactly would one sample a bale of corn stalks full of ears?????? Grind up two separate piles. Start with more rye than corn stalks, read BS and feed more cornstalks/corn when it gets really cold. One could pull a sample of your TMR when all mixed up to get an idea. Their stock cows.............
^^^ don't over complicate it. My stock cows get regular corn stalks and ryelage bales until about 2 weeks prefresh... then about 5 lbs of corn/hd/day |
