Contact a local steam enthusiast organization, and ask if they'd be interested in buying it.
Same as above, but retain ownership. You offer to pay all expenses of the restoration, they do the work, and they get to exhibit it for the next 10 years. (I could be way off base with this one. I'm just spouting off)
If it's in good enough condition already, find a local enthusiast to help you figure out all the belting requirements, and offer him the chance to run it on your silo blower for a couple days. I think there's plenty of steam enthusiasts who'd be happy to run an engine at governed speed for multiple straight hours. I know I would! | |
