If the planter has Dickey John high rate sensors, then setting up monitoring is very simple. You will need a full FieldIQ cab kit and a seed monitoring module with DJ/PM style harness. If the sensors are not DJ then I have read on here that a different harness and sensor kit is needed. Hopefully someone else comments about this requirement.

This said, the CFX display is quite a visual mess if you are running both seed monitoring and section control. Trimble must know this as they don’t even include that option within the cabling guide. http://trl.trimble.com/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-507655/CFX_CG_9...
Use the FMX cabling guide as reference instead http://trl.trimble.com/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-446411/FmX_CG_R...

The great part about integration the CFX will be section control. With a section module and a couple relays you can probably make the half width clutches automatic. This sure speeds up planting if you are accustomed to stopping on headlands.
