Subject: Re: Best and worst laptops

Iowa
Per the announcement a couple of months ago, Lenovo is moving away from their US market concentration. They are going back to concentrating on the Asia market as their market share and margins in the US fell even prior to the market melt down. If you need a windows machine I would go with HP. They lead in market share and have the highest consumer/customer support ratings - hence the market share... go figure. If you want a machine that can run both windows and OS X I would go with a MacBook Pro. MacBook is stable, easy to use. I run Parallels on my MacBook which lets me run windows in a window or on my mac at the same time I run OS X. I do this because I mainly support Windows servers and laptops/desktops for businesses.
