Texas/New Mexico Stateline
I always had trouble pronouncing the past tense of running a disk harrow in the field.

Dad always said "disk-ed" with heavy emphasis on the -ed.

I always tried to say disked where it almost comes out "dissed".

So usually I give up and say "I ran the disk over the field."

(spell checker doesn't even like "disked")
