SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

IMHO, J5 is too short You need at least a seven, I would prefer a YJ, prior to 89 so it still has leaf springs, look really hard for a rust free one. Or figure on putting a new frame under it.. I picked up a rust free of Arizona with what they thought was a bad motor for $4,000. howell fuel injection and a good valve job and she runs like a charm. IMHO buy for the frame and body assume the drivetrain is shot. Lots  of good aftermarket build kits available. It's like a cult!
