Personally, I'm very skeptical of any monitor data, with no exceptions. Reason being, I've put out a 1000+ ft plot for my Pioneer dealer every year since 2009 and it gets harvested with a freshly calibrated Ag Leader every year. Each variety gets it's own "region" in the monitor and then dumped into his Parkan weigh tender. The variations in the monitor are completely random...but at the end of the plot it will average out to be "spot on" Again, I would not do any research based on yield monitor data. | |
