Eastern NE KS | I saved used round baler belts to make a woven traction pad for in front of our cattle chute. I secured the weave with a single small stainless steel bolts with SS fender washers. My pad was 9 x 10 feet and used all 8 belts from my JD 567. It is about 1/2" thick. Cells are 7x7"; narrower belting would have smaller cells and even better traction.
Could something like this fit on the floor of your chute?
