Driftless SW Wisconsin

Jim Fitz - 8/2/2020 12:58 You should try Silotite bale wrap if you can get it, there is quite a few up here use the ultra 5 its also called Maple Leaf Ultra 5, it is price cheaper then most and is why it garners a big share of the market , but on side by side trials the feed will come out of the tube with less spoilage with the Silotite, very good product and we have tried quit a few of them, Silograss is another good wrap.

Thank you for the information. I'm just trying the Ultra 5 from my dealer this year. I did have one bad roll of Ultra 5 new out of the box. The center tube was pushed out and it would not fit on my wrapper. My dealer said he'd replace the defective roll but it was a major pain in the neck and slowed the whole operation while I went to get another roll.I added a picture below so you can see what I mean.

Sunfilm Gold is very popular around here with the folks that do a lot of wrapping, been used by my custom guy and I've not seen a problem with it.

I'll find some Silotite to try after I finish my current stock of Ultra 5.
