Subject: RE: Wrapping 5x6 marginal moisture bales

Driftless SW Wisconsin
If I'm wrapping wet 5 ft dia bales i use a bag on the first bale. The bags i have dont fit a 6 ft dia bale.

I haven't found a practical way to use a bag on the last bale in a row but with the pusher on the new Andersons I can almost close the end with just wrap.

I also hate short rows of inline wrapped bales. Now that i own my own wrapper i often just leave the last bale partially wrapped and the wrapper in place even if it's a week before u have more bales from a different field. Then just put the new bale on and keep going. Especially at low to moderate moistureleaving that last bale half exposed doesnt seem to spoil as much as ending and starting a new row.
