jdbob8100 - 8/2/2020 20:30 Bought a 21' camper & pulled with a 5L F150 & the advice of camper salesmen is the sure it will do it & it will but in big hills the 6 speed Trans is constantly shifting or the engine rpm is higher in a lower gear. Bought an older F350 Dsl with a 6.7L & it pulls real nice-lots of torq.
i have a 5.0 w/ 6 speed and it constantly shifts with a small trailer.
Even just going down the road empty it will drop 2 gears when I step up the cruise 2 mph. | 
Try this for over priced parts and service.
