southern MN | You are to be cut out of any govt programs tho (is this in the USA) and so you aren’t farming it. That doesn’t work for the owner to keep the payments but you are the farmer making decisions. It will not fit the govt and banker and insurance paperwork. You need that straightened out properly.
Frankly I don’t know much, but I know you have some issues going on there to sort out.
Edit: taxes would be a non-issue here if it is farmed it is farm land, so you have a lot going on there that is ‘different.’ Be sure you aren’t getting yourself into trouble. Also there are perhaps a lot of potential govt payments going on these days, without them this might not be the good deal you think with $2 corn potential......
If you are in a different country then never mind, I have no idea.
