NE Iowa | My area's finally getting on the drought map here in Buchanan county. Only had 1.5 inches in July and that came on the 9th-11th. Only a couple sprinkles in the last three weeks. This past week has turned a corner for the worst. Corn on light soils is rolled everyday and beans are turning gray. The lawn is completely brown and crunchy.
And yes the coons are bad this year. I found 4 circles like the 2nd picture just from one walk across the field.
