Fayette Co, Iowa | My lighter soils are rolled up tight. Fired up to the ears. You know its dry when its cloudy, 63 degrees at 7 am and it never unrolled from the night before. Heavy soil can hang on another week or so with cooler temps. Need that rain Saturday night. Beans are shortening up on lighter ground. Turning whitish during the heat of the day.. mother nature always has the last say... | |
