Pack it tight in coolers, styrofoam or a regular igloo. Wife's cousin bought a whole steer from us a few years ago, I took it too the locker in eastern Iowa, he picked it up loaded all into coolers in his Volkswagen Jetta wagon, cranked the air conditioner and headed for Denver Colorado. Said I t was all frozen when he got home.
