Subject: RE: Gas additive to counter ethanol issues

A corn field somewhere on planet vulcan
about 12 years ago I blew up my polaris sled and dealer told me it was ethanol. Got it fixed and ran premium no ethanol then it blew up and he told me I really needed to stop using ethanol because it made it fail again. I switched to brp and run E10 in everything I have never had a problem since. I do put stabilizer in the sleds for the summer, my pumps and other small engines just sit and then start up again in the spring. So my vote is just run it, I dont know if it makes a difference but I only buy gas at the local shell station, because it is one of 2 available, the e10 from the other place has a very strong smell and is perfectly clear, so for no other reason other than I dont like how it looks that what I do with no issue.
