I am one of those unusual kooks that won’t burn any ethanol in small engines. We had all kinds of trouble with our small engines on our farm, of course it wasn’t the ethanol, so we only burn straight gas in the small engines. Weird, but the engine trouble went away when we quit burning ethanol, but it wasn’t the ethanol.
Several stations locally have pumps with straight gas so we keep a barrel full of ethanol free gas for all of our small engines. |
