I think I'll have a good crop. Now that the corn is maturing, I am noticing more and more yellow spots on the hillsides. The corn has been stunted in those spots all year. Those spots were always the first (and only) spots to show the effects of dry weather. It's either a compaction issue, or heavy rains washed away the fertilizer (hill sides). Still hoping for 200+ overall, which is awesome for this area, but it just may not be there. Probably won't plant a single acre of corn next year, as I'll need 200+ just to break even.
