| I've said this for a very long time. We grew up in the very best of times. Our parents faced tough times and war, and our kids never had it as good as we did. When our parents were young, they didn't wonder if taking a job would be "fulfilling" - if a job was available, they jumped at it. Those of us born in the 40s had choices. The environment was heavily influenced by the wars and the depression, but the future was promising.
