| I did a 16 row 1770 Pro Shaft finger pick - up a couple of weeks ago. Everything you mentioned I ran into as well. I skipped the hole saw and went right for the plasma cutter. Have you put the units back on the planter and checked to see that the dawgs on the unit and the drive match up. There is very little room for adjustment, I had to trim out a couple rows to allow for adjusting the drive to make sure the the dowgs were hitting in the center, other wise they just flipped past the dawg on the unit. It wasn't I big deal just added a little more time to the install. As long as the dawgs meet up and the clutches have enough play you will be happy. Good Luck | |
