central nebraska | We just purchased a John Deere rate controller to put on our Bestway sprayer. We will no longer need to use the raven controller in the cab. The 2600 will now be the controller for the sprayer. The manual that came with the John Deere rate controller has instructions for an anhydrous rate controller built into JD rate controller. It looks like you would need to purchase the JD rate controller and wiring harnesses to fit your dickey john. JD rate controller is about $4,000. If you are going to use auto swath control you need to use the JD rate controller. Add another $1700 if you want to add swath control to your 2600. We are currently trying to use our 2600 to control our dickey john planter motor drives. JD and dickey john seem to not like to let each other know what is going on with their equipment. I would recommend talking to JD or dickey john to see if the JD rate controller and dickey john are compatable. Hopefully I answered your question. | |
