Subject: RE: Utah Covid restrictions

SLC, Utah
Right now we're seeing about 700 new cases a day. Last weeks daily average was 600+ per day. Governor wants to see the weekly daily average below 500 cases or he'll impose mandatory masks. Salt Lake County (where I live) is mandatory masks in public. Even the LDS church has asked its' members to wear masks when out. I feel that it's getting worse here rather than getting better. We're a "hot spot" according to the White House Coronavirus task force. School is scheduled to open next month but my gut says that won't happen at the rate of cases rising.
