I think the latter provides better info than the former, but I am bias. My best guess is that your closest tower is IDOT Davenport (?25-50miles from you). After you get 20+ miles outside of the network you are really pushing capabilities. Nothing personal, but I would start thinking about plan B, at least till towers start getting a bit closer to you.
